Push-Pull Controls

We are unique in the marketplace as we are the only manufacturer providing a non-corrosive product for the marine environment. The Push-Pull Control for small craft has proven to be the easiest control installation. The flexible cables require little planning for installation and no intermediate supports. Pneumatics

Kobelt Pneumatic Control components are the most reliable means of control for marine propulsion packages and deck machinery. Our engineering department has done an excellent job in simplifying designs, by eliminating many moving parts and yet retaining all the essential safeguards for propulsion package timing. Pneumatic Marine Controls lend themselves extremely well for multi-station remote control, interlocks and time delays, automatic load share and automatic load control. Kobelt can also provide all necessary alarms, control-consoles and console-tops for your complete turn-key package. We manufacture all components for any type of pneumatic control system. Best suited for vessels anywhere between 50 to 600 feet (15 to 180m), this control system features a limitless number of control stations. As additional stations do not affect the performance of the control station, the control heads move effortlessly, regardless of the distance or force required.

Brakes

Kobelt Manufacturing has been designing and manufacturing disc brake systems for over 35 years. We have gained an enviable reputation for cost-effective performance and reliability. Kobelt disc brakes are used in all corners of the world. The applications we serve are limitless throughout the Aerospace, Wind Generators, Off Shore and Oil and Gas Industries all over the World.

Most of our older brake calipers were manufactured in sand cast bronze. Increased demand prompted us to apply our extensive knowledge of bronze die-casting technology to a whole new series of brakes. Caliper models 5019-5028 are made entirely of die-cast silicon bronze with stainless steel hardware. While older models are still available upon special request, the new series is much more uniform in design and is also more cost-effective. All our calipers are available in either fluid or spring applied configurations
